A little common sense about rolling bearings
Bearings are widely used as an important part of modern machinery. Bearings are generally made up of an inner ring, outer ring, rolling element and cage. For sealed bearings, together with the lubricant and the seal (or dust cover), this is all the components of the bearing.
According to the shape of the rolling body, rolling bearings can be divided into ball bearings and roller bearings. According to the direction of rolling bearing load, rolling bearing can be divided into: radial bearing, mainly bear radial load; radial thrust bearing, can bear the common action of radial and axial load; thrust bearing can only bear axial load.
About the method of bearing hot installation: As there are impurities and metal chips inside the bearing during production, the installation site is not always clean, so pad the tank with groove steel or lay metal net underneath, then put on the bearing to make the oil soak through the bearing. The bearings are first heated in the oil, and when heated to 50~60 degrees, the bearings are rotated up and down to remove impurities. Take the domestic bearings to 90℃ when they are taken outwards, and the imported bearings to 100℃ when they are taken outwards. It is not important to overload the bearings slightly when installing them. When installing the shaft, take a wooden or copper rod and knock on the inner ring; when installing the sleeve, knock on the outer ring.
Precautions after the bearing is hot loaded: after installation, pull the outer ring, rotate it and then close it to straighten it. If there are impurities in the bearing, it will be difficult to align it. After the bearing is positioned, plug the gap between the bearing and the housing with a stopper to find out the concentricity and perpendicularity of the shaft. When there are no problems, close the box. With the box closed, several people turn the shaft by hand. Then add oil, one at a time, so that the oil line is not visible in the oil mirror. Release the oil drain hole so that the oil line is between 1/2 and 2/3 of the oil level and again make sure that the box is clean. Check that it is correct and then you can turn it on. After ten minutes of rotation you can stop the machine for inspection, after which it can be officially switched on.
Rolling bearing maintenance issues: the water cycle can not be short of water and should always pay attention to the oil level, timely oil replenishment, do not lack of oil. According to the quality of the oil, timely oil change, new bearings start to use when the oil change twice. When stopping the machine, clean the bearing with gasoline or diesel oil, and then replace the new oil. Lack of oil and full oil damage the bearings, the result is the same. When the oil level is high, sufficient space for heat dissipation is not guaranteed. When the oil level is low, adequate lubrication and heat dissipation cannot be ensured.
Other notes on rolling bearings: equipment damage manifests itself in bearings, but it is not necessarily a bearing problem. Check the bearings first before extending to others. Any manufacturer does not guarantee the service life of bearings, because the production, installation, use and maintenance of bearings in all aspects should be noted, any one of the problems can not. Fan bearings require fine use, because with a very large load, and instantly over a lot of dust. For high-speed rotating equipment, a little dust will not do.
